Social Media Meets Article Submission

The online world is full of internal links – no wonder they call it the world wide web, perhaps it should be the world wild web.

Social sites are looking to share profile data, users are seriously thinking about one stop login shops, blogs can link to various social blogging and social bookmarking sites and now, just to cap things of, EzineArticles – the article submission directory, is allowing users to include links to their social profiles in their author bio page.

You can link your author bio to LinkedIN, FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter and FriendFeed. The process is fairly straightforward:

  1. Log in to your EzineArticles membership author interface.
  2. Click on PROFILE MANAGER
  3. Click on EDIT AUTHOR BIO
  4. Select the author (or yourself) you want to edit the profile for.
  5. Look near the top/middle of the URL section immediately below the “Blog URL” box and you’ll see the new fields that you can enter your social media URL’s that will guide visitors to be able to find you.
  6. Scroll down and click on the green SAVE CHANGES button & you’re done!

All very straightforward and easy to do. If you don’t want or don’t have an presence on one of the social sites, just leave it out, it wont appear on your author bio.

Makes you wonder who is going to connect with whom next.
