StumbleUpon Makes Changes To Friends And Subscribers

We wrote a little while ago about the changes to StumbleUpon and the way friends and subscribers would change. It seems they have finally completed the changes according to the SU Blog.

Starting tomorrow, we will be improving the way you can make Friends or follow another member’s Stumbles — here’s what’s different:

  • add more than 200 Friends
  • befriend another member without following their Stumbles
  • subscribe to another member’s Stumbles without becoming their Friend
  • members who’ve unsubscribed from StumbleUpon no longer appear as your Friend
  • “Fans” will now be known as “Subscribers”
  • Subscribers who are new StumbleUpon members appear at the top of your Subscribers list

This has been a while in the making. The good news is that you can have more than 200 friends; even better, when someone leaves SU, they will be removed from your friend list. Until now, you could have 200 friends – 190 of whom had left, but they remained on your list.
